Blantyre (Malawi) 2 Sister 2 Sister volunteers are caring for 10 HIV+ babies. Some are orphans and other children have parents who are dying from AIDS and are unable to care for the child. The children are housed in one of the volunteers’ house. They gather support for this work from their own congregations and from friends in the area. Nutrition Caring for 10 HIV+ babies requires a carefully balanced diet. On top of this the volunteers also provide a soup kitchen for the neighbourhood kids twice a week. They also teach mothers how to use nutrition to care effectively for their children.
